He lives in Bishops Cannings with his wife Gill, a primary school teacher. He has a daughter Anna and a son Henry. Pets include Bart the Norfolk Terrier, Tess the Border Terrier and Ruby the cat. He is a sports fanatic and is Chairman and Wicket Keeper for Bishops Cannings Cricket Club - bending being increasingly difficult. He is also a Cliff Richard fan and quite open about it! He joined the partnership in 1990 after internship at Bristol Veterinary School. His passion is rock climbing and more recently dinghy racing and yachting. He has two daughters. Born in Scotland, he attended Edinburgh University and graduated in 1989. He is married to Trish and they have two daughters, Georgia & Olivia. They have two Burmese cats - Tigi & Twinkle, a horse - Ferris, and a Guinea Pig - Bonzo. In his spare time he renovates his house and World War II jeeps - but not necessarily in that order! He follows all sports including Scottish National Football and Rugby sides - which must be a trifle depressing. Scott Carpenter Andy Muckle BVSc MSc(VetGP) Dip.LHP MRCVS Andy was born in Walton-on-Thames and qualified from Bristol University in 1993. He came to Estcourt House after a year in a Somerset practice but left in 1996. After nine years as assistant then Partner in a Middlesex practice he returned to Estcourt House as a Partner in 2005. Along the way he collected an MSc and a Diploma in Livestock Health and Production. He lives in Devizes with his wife Becky, daughter Isla, and cat Albert. He is rather sadly a die-hard supporter of Fulham Football Club. Andy Muckle Diane Roberts Practice Manager Diane joined the Practice in 1988 as receptionist and is now Practice Manager. Di and Jackie our Head Nurse are serious fans of rock musician Bryan Adams, and actor Sean Bean. Diane Roberts Jackie Swain Head Nurse Jackie is our nursing leader and has worked here since 1989. She lives nearby with her partner Darren. She enjoys going down to Cornwall at every opportunity. Her Hobbies include surfing . . . on the internet! Jackie Swain Sarah Gudgeon RVN Deputy Head Nurse Sarah - having completed her National Diploma in Animal Care at Lackham College, joined us in September 2002 as a student veterinary nurse and qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 2009. Sarah was born and bred in Devizes and attended Devizes School. She lives in her house in Potterne with her husband Rob and their three lovely cats and a very cute little terrier called Alfie. Sarah Gudgeon Emma Boyd SVN Emma joined us in May 2005 as a student veterinary nurse. She was previously studying Animal Care at Lackham College. She lives in Devizes and has a cat called Harry. Emma is officially the fastest 'Texter' in the West. Emma Boyd Gemma Barnett SVN Gemma joined us in June 2007 as a Trainee Veterinary Nurse. She lives in Ramsbury and has a horse called Obeche and a terrier with a very curly tail called Snoopy. She enjoys horse riding, walking Snoopy and . . . eating chocolate! Gemma Barnett Karin O'Rourke Receptionist Karin is Devizes born and bred. She joined us as Receptionist in October 2000. She has a Spaniel Millie and a Terrier Fred-Jeremy. Karin knows more people in Devizes than anyone alive! She has a keen interest in antiques and attends collector's fairs. Karin O'Rourke Chris Berry  BVetMed MRCVS Chris qualified from the Royal Veterinary College London in 1971. For many years he ran his own practice in Reading but has now sold out to a larger concern to devote more time to other passions. Chris is married to Carole and they have three grown-up children and three grandchildren. He joined us in 2002 to consult part-time on Friday evening and Saturday morning. Chris Berry
